Inspiration for this painting came from my backyard. I see deers in my backyard all the time. This deer is so familiar with my backyard that it exactly knows where to find it's favorite snack. I used mixed media for mark making. I made marks until my heart was content and then decided which ones I keep till the end. The abstract background brings out tender emotions and the graceful deer add the beauty while it is enjoying its environment.
