I felt like I need to add turtle to this series. This turned out one of my favorite paintings in the series. It felts to effortless and I was so much in the zone while painting this. My right brain just knew what went next. Stroke after stoke the painting told me what was the next step. I used mixed media for mark making and underpainting, then finished with rich oil colors to achieve the depth.

The slow and deliberate movements of turtles teach us the value of patience. This painting inspire me to approach my goals and challenges with a calm, measured pace, knowing that perseverance will lead me to my destination.
